Good morning from the front office space Madeline and I share, otherwise known as Shaw McMahon First Nation. The babies are screaming, the dog is barking, and smudge smoke lingers in the air. All is wonderful over here, I hope things are good for you wherever this email/update finds you.
Today I’m flipping the switch on Substack Chat for platform.
I didn’t immediately jump on the Substack Chat feature because I wasn’t entirely sure that I wanted the pressure and responsibility of having to curate another space on the internet.
When I dug into my stats on the publishing side of things, I saw that less than 2% of you readers/listeners are actually using the app to receive my work.
But I’ve noticed in the last few months that more of you are using the Substack app.
Life with two babies, and a couple of jobs, and a partner that deserves my time and attention, it has been hard to publish work at the level I always aim to maintain. I have to remind myself that not EVERYTHING I publish needs to be a thing.
So today I’m flipping the switch on CHAT.
Download the app to get in the chat and share with the Joke, Talk, Yell, Write community. I won’t paywall the chat ever. I do encourage you to support this work with monthly paid memberships or by sharing this with your networks on social media.
Get more from Ryan McMahon in the Substack app
Available for iOS and Android
Here you’ll receive pontifications, disruptions, quips, subliminal messages, and Anishinaabe propaganda that will sufficiently fill your heart and minds with unique offerings and ideas in between longer posts and podcasts.
I appreciate your patience here at Joke, Yell, Talk, Write.
